The Davidson County Board of Elections is responsible for the registration of all Davidson County residents who are eligible to vote. Additionally, the Board is responsible for conducting fair, non-partisan elections consistent with the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina and the United States of America, as well as all procedures and regulations as prescribed by the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

July 31, 2026 (Noon) - Candidate Filing closes for Davidson County Board of Education
September 4, 2026 - Absentee by Mail ballots released
October 9, 2026 - Voter Registration Deadline for Primary Elections
October 15, 2026 - Early Voting Begins
October 20, 2026 (5pm) - Absentee Ballot Request Deadline
October 31, 2026 (3pm) - Early Voting Ends
Novemeber 3, 2026 - Election Day (polls open 6:30am-7:30pm at assigned polling location)
